cheeky little brown, Nkenna Akunna’s play about friendship, queer love, and heartbreak, is now available to stream. The one-person show stars Tiajna Amayo as Lady.
The digital release, supported by The Space, is available through both tiata fahodzi, the British African heritage contemporary theatre company, and Bristol Old Vic websites until 2 November.
Directed by Chinonyerem Odimba and featuring original songs by Akunna, cheeky little brown toured the UK in late 2023 in a co-production between Bristol Old Vic and Belgrade Theatre.
It transferred to London’s Stratford East in Spring 2024.
