Emma Corrin and Kodi Smit-McPhee are joining the previously announced Cate Blanchett and Tom Burke in the cast of The Seagull at the Barbican Theatre next year.
Chekhov’s classic has been adapted in a new version by Duncan Macmillan and Thomas Ostermeier and plays at the theatre in a limited run from 26 February to 5 April.
The cast also includes Priyanga Burford and Zachary Hart who both appeared in Ostermeier’s West End adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People, starring Matt Smith. Paul Higgins, Tanya Reynolds and Jason Watkins are also set to appear with further casting to be announced.
Tickets for the production go on general sale on 9 October.
