Featuring music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton recounts the life of Alexander Hamilton from his birth to his death, and in doing so traces the early history of the United States of America. It features a slate of well-known historical figures of the period including George Washington, Aaron Burr, Marquis de Lafayette, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and King George III.

Hamilton plays at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London’s West End – it’s right across the road from Victoria Station making it ideal for anyone travelling into London.

Initial previews began for the West End premiere of Hamilton on 6 December 2017 ahead of an official opening night on 21 December. It has run continually in Victoria Palace Theatre since then except for an enforced closure during the COVID pandemic which lasted from March 2020 to August 2021 – and with regular sell-out performances, it shows now time of closing anytime soon.

It was a hit! As with the Broadway production, Hamilton opened in the West End to universal acclaim.
